Wheatley Cottage is a pretty, semi-detached cottage in a delightfully quiet setting with ample parking at the end of the garden. Special reduced rates for April 2008 - click here The cottage consists of a fitted oak kitchen with microwave, fridge and electric oven, a bathroom with shower over bath, an oak-beamed lounge with open fire, colour television and video and separate dining room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded room, with space for a cot. The cottage, which is part cob walled, has been renovated. Heating is by night storage heaters and open fire, if required. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer available. The fairly large cottage garden is enclosed with patio area, patio furniture, barbecue and an abundance of flowers, shrubs and trees. |

Heating, bed linen and towels are included in the price, plus logs and coal for the fire in the winter and charcoal for the barbecue in the summer. The local post office / stores and pub is a three minute walk away. Everton is a small village situated on the A337 between Lymington and New Milton. Approximately one mile away are Milford-on-Sea, with its shingle beach, and Keyhaven, a small harbour and ferry link to Hurst Castle. Lymington, three miles away, is renowned for its sailing, Saturday market and ferry link to the Isle of Wight. The New Forest is easily accessible and the cottage is stocked with leaflets on where to go and how to get there. |
