Rose Cottage, situated in a no-through lane was built at the turn of the last century and is ideally located to explore both the Solent coast and the New Forest.

Enter through the front door into a small entrance hall. Straight in front is the downstairs cloakroom with room for boots and beach gear.

Through a second front door into the hall way and right into the lounge. This has a comfortable double sofa bed which can be made up for an extra two guests or for those who find stairs a chore! Here also is the open fire, TV and DVD player, CD and radio and a selection of books and games for grown-ups and children.

The dining area is set in front of the French door which leads out onto the patio and garden. A drop leaf table sits 4 comfortably and can be extended to seat more guests if necessary.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped complete with built under electric oven and gas hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. There’s plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for self-catering, plus, in the summer a barbecue offers ‘cooking al fresco’! Tea towels and washing up items are supplied.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms. A double bedroom with original fire surround and a twin bedded room with 3 foot wide beds. Both rooms have pine bedside tables, wardrobes and chests of drawers.

The bathroom is between the two bedrooms and has a W.C., basin and bath/shower mixer. A light over the basin has an electrical shaver socket.

The cottage is regularly decorated and refurbished to comply with the 4 star gradings awarded by Visit Britain in 2006.
